Varanasi is home, and it is where everything we sell today happens — we are on the ghats, not in a call centre in another city. Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh is where the company sits and where our operators live. Ayodhya, Vrindavan, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Ujjain are where we are going next, in that spirit: one city at a time, opened only once we have people there we would send our own family with.
How we work
The price is the price
What you see includes GST. There is no service fee added at the last screen, and no fare that changes once you have chosen your date and your party.
A deposit holds it
Pay a small part now to confirm and settle the rest before you travel — or pay in full if you would rather have nothing left to sort out on the day.
Local operators, onboarded by us
Every boatman, driver, guide and hotel we sell is someone we have met and taken on before a rupee changes hands. Local is not a marketing word here; it is who is actually running your day.
Plans change, and that is allowed
Everything we sell can be cancelled free within its own window, and that window is on the page before you pay — never discovered afterwards. You can cancel yourself from Your trips.
Why arrange it ahead
In a pilgrimage city, everything is available and almost nothing is comparable. What a boat, a car or a guide costs depends on who is asking. What you are getting is described after you have agreed to it. And on the dates people travel for — a festival, a full moon, an auspicious week — the good arrangements were made months earlier by someone who knew to make them.
Booking ahead turns that into a fixed price, a named operator, a meeting point with a map, and a number to ring when something is not as described. That is the whole proposition, and it is why our travellers rate us 4.8 on Google.
